Basie Weekly Meeting: October 21, 2009
Basie had it’s weekly meeting today. Here’s the transcript if you want to relive the action, if not, here’s summary.
We still have a few failing tests. Ted (ttate) is assigning those remaining fixes to the developers.
We talked about test coverage and Tony is going to run (EDIT: has run): django test — –with-coverage –cover-package=apps and put it up on the blog. Greg says that for every 20 lines we write, we need a test.
Finally, we laid out the Basie 0.6 dev schedule for the rest of the term. Ian (ilienert) has posted a nice little summary here.
That’s all until next week!
A few more specifics:
1) Patches to failing tests are to be on ReviewBoard by noon Thursday Oct 22.
2) All outstanding reviews are to be cleared off ReviewBoard by end of day Thursday Oct 22 so that commits can happen by end of day Friday Oct 23.
3) Ted Tate and Andrew Schurman are going to rebalance their assigned tests.
4) Zuzel Vera Pacheco is going to review the IRC stuff.
5) From email sent later the same day: the team has to submit a proposed grading scheme by Friday Oct 30.
6) Expense claims are in the works; Greg Wilson will follow up to see if he can speed up processing.
7) Josh McCarthy is going to amend his description of the Basie process to talk about how people manage patching and reviewing.
